Make great connections with iConnect's Broadband Phone service plan. iConnect Here Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) service offers one of most flexible international plans we reviewed. In addition to unlimited calling to the United States and Canada, iConnect’s World Plan includes Spain, Russia, Germany, UK and more. Additional plans include 800 calling minutes a month to the U.S. and Canada for $15.99 and a pay–as–you–go plan for $6.99 per month.

iConnectHere charges a one-time $29.99 activation fee and a $39.99 cancellation fee if the service is canceled between the end of the 30-day money back guarantee and your first 12 months of service. After one year of service you are free to cancel without penalty.

iConnect features include standards like Voicemail, Caller ID, 3-way Calling, Speed Dial, Call Waiting and Call Forwarding. Besides telephone to telephone VOIP service they also offer a free download for computer to computer voice communication.

If you sign up on iConnect’s website they will send you a free telephone adapter. Simply plug your telephone into the adapter and then plug the adapter into your DSL or cable modem. For computer to computer communication, iConnect's latest version of their free software, Dialer #6 is not compatible with some equipment. In these cases use alternative versions: Version 5.2.4 for a USB modem and version 5.1 for Windows 95 and Windows NT.

We found that iConnect has a large FAQs section on their website but no telephone number to contact customer service. We emailed them with some questions about their service and they replied with a comprehensive answer within 48 hours. We would have liked the turnaround time to have been quicker considering they don’t have a phone number.
