InPhonex offers a variety of VoIP services designed for a wide variety of needs. Their most popular plan, US & Canada Unlimited is $24.95 a month and includes all your standard phone features like Voicemail, Caller ID, Call Waiting, free In-Network calls and more. You can also keep your existing phone number. However, they do not provide any kind of directory assistance.
InPhonex charges a one-time setup fee of $19.95, and unlike many of the services we reviewed there is no cancellation fee at any time. However they don’t provide a free phone adapter. You can buy your own at a local store or choose one from them. The cheapest one we saw was almost $65.
Other plans include “Pay as you Go” calling, Worldwide 36 (long distance calling to 36 different countries, NAFTA Unlimited, The Americas Unlimited, Mexico Unlimited and more.
We found InPhonex provided a decent customer service section including a FAQ, user guide, telephone support and email contact. Our emails were answered in 24 hours.
For the same price, more features and free adapter see the #1 service, Vonage.
