MyPhoneCompany's Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) service plan, My Home Unlimited U.S. and Canada offers unlimited calling anywhere in the United States and Canada and standard calling features for $24.99 a month. International calls are charged per minute and rates vary. We found that MyPhoneCompany’s international rates were competitive, but a little on the high side comparatively.
My Home's calling features include Voicemail, Caller ID, 3-way Calling, Speed Dial, Call Waiting, Call Forwarding, Call Transfer, Call Blocking, Do Not Disturb and Call Return (*69). The Enhanced 911 Dialing feature is extra.
Additional services available at an additional cost include additional phone lines, softphone, virtual numbers and toll-free numbers.
MyPhoneCompany charges a one-time setup fee of $29.99 and is one of the few services we reviewed that does not charge any kind of cancellation fee. A phone adapter is included with your service. Customers are required to return the device upon cancellation of the service.
MyPhoneCompany provides email support and large FAQ, but we didn’t see a telephone number or additional help information. However, they responded to questions through email within 24 hours.
For a VOIP service that offers calling to additional countries and more comprehensive help see the Gold winner, Vonage .
