Verizon's Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) VoiceWing Unlimited plan includes unlimited calls in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico as well as unlimited In-Network (calls between other Verizon users) calling for $24.95 per month. This plan supports many useful features like Voicemail, Caller ID, 3-way Calling, Speed Dial, Call Waiting, Call Forwarding and Call Return (*69).
Verizon charges an activation/setup fee of $19.95, but at the time of this review they will waive the fee if you sign-up online. There is also a $39.95 cancellation fee if you cancel after your 60-day guarantee and before your one year anniversary.
We had a difficult time contacting customer service by email, while they responded to our message they didn’t answer any of our questions. They suggested we call sales. When we called sales the associate we spoke with seemed naive and had to ask a manager at least once.
For a service with a few more features and comprehensive customer service see Vonage.
